MassForum VII Graduates Equipped for Change
Terrific Taunton Team
Jul 22, 2010
Every year, for the past seven years, the Mass Partnership has held the MassForum, a training series that builds capacity for teams from communities across MA.
This year, teams hailed from Acton, Avon, Chelmsford, Lincoln, Fall River, New Bedford, Taunton and Uxbridge. The teams were trained in Coalition Building, Diversity, Youth Development, Communications, Planning and Evaluation and Leadership. For the first time, the trainings were a combination of in-person sessions and online courses.
44 members of the eight teams were awarded Certificates of Completion during the June 7 Healthy Communities Conference graduation ceremony. They surely will go on to do great things in their communities.
